REGISTRATION FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all newly admitted candidates for the 2020/2021 Academic Session into ND I and HND I that they are requested to begin registration from Monday 19^th April, 2021.

Candidates should first report at the Admission Office for initial clearance before proceeding to the various departments and the bank for necessary payments.

They are expected to come along with the following documents:

1.JAMB Admission Letter (ND & HND)

2.School Admission Letter/Acceptance Letter

3.ND Result and Transcript/evidence of payment for Transcript (HND only)

4.JAMB Result (ND only)

5.O/Level Result (WAEC, NECO & NABTEB)

6.IT Letter (HND only)

7.State of Origin Certificate

8.RRR/Post-UTME acknowledgment slip

9.HND screening payment slip

Candidates have two weeks to comply with this directives as those who fail to register may forfeit the admission.

2020/2021 HND Admission Screening Exercise

This is to invite eligible candidates seeking admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah for the 2020/2021 academic session for screening test as follows:

Date: 14th December, 2020.

Time: 9am.

Venue: The Federal Polytechnic, Idah

You are to come with writing materials, evidence of payment for HND Application form, Screening Payment Slip for screening payment and photocopy of ND Result.

PROCEDURE OF PAYMENT FOR THE SCREENING

Candidates are expected to make a payment of Four Thousand Naira (N4,000.00) only as the Screening Fee.

Candidates are advised to visit The Federal Polytechnic, Idah website i.e https://secure2020admission.fepoda.edu.ng and follow the steps below to make payment online, fill their details and print out the screening slip:

Login with the username and password created during the registratin process.

Click on “Make Screening Payment” to generate Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.

Take the printed Payment Invoice to any Bank for payment of (4,000.00 using Remita.

Return to the school website https://secure2020admission.fepoda.edu.ng to confirm screening payment by clicking “Confirm Screening Fee Payment”.

Print out Screening payment slip

Upload ND Results, Evidence of Payments (Application form, Transcript- FPI Graduands, Screening Fee) on the school portal https://www.secure2020admission.fepoda.edu.ng

Completion and submission of forms online will close by 11:59 p.m. on the 11^th December, 2020.

2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The minimum entry requirements for admission into the Higher National Diploma programmes are as follows:

1. National Diploma in the relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit grade and a minimum of one-year post qualification industrial work experience. In exceptional cases, candidates with Pass grade and a minimum of two years post qualification industrial work experience in the specific field may be considered for admission.

2. In addition, candidates must possess Five (5) relevant credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language at the SSC/NTC/NBC obtained from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings.

3. All candidates, including ND graduates from the Federal Polytechnic, Idah are to process and forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar.

4. In addition, all candidates seeking admission must have ND JAMB admission letters.

3. METHOD OF APPLICATION

The following procedures are to be followed:

1. Log on to the address https://ww w.secure2020admission.fepoda.edu.ng

2. Click on the On-Line Application Tab;

3. Fill the form with valid e-mail address and password containing eight (8) characters of letters and numbers and print out the Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number;

4. Take the printed Payment Invoice to any bank for the payment of Five Thousand, Five Hundred Naira ( N 5,500.00) only using the Remita;

5. Go back to the School website ( https://ww w.secure2020admission.fepoda.edu.ng ) to complete the registration by clicking on “Finish Registration”;

6. Print out the Application Form, Confidential Report and State of Origin documents.

4. APPLICATION FEE

Each application form costs N 5,500.00.

5. CLOSING DATE

The closing date for the application is 31^st October, 2020.

Screening exercises for the HND candidates will take place at the Federal Polytechnic, Idah and on a date to be announced later. Candidates are to check the Polytechnic website for updates from 2^nd November, 2020.

2020/2021 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

All candidates who sat for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s 2020 UTME with a minimum score of 140 and chose Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their Institution of First Choice or intend to change their Institution of first choice to the Federal Polytechnic, Idah and also have the required credit passes as contained in the JAMB brochure, are hereby required to undertake an on-line Post-UTME registration exercise.

1. PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION:

Candidates are advised to visit the Federal Polytechnic, Idah website i.e. https://www.postutme1.fepoda.edu.ng and follow the steps below to make payment on line:
i) Click on “Screening payment” link;
ii) Fill the form with a valid personal e-mail address and print out the payment with Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR);
iii) Take the printed payment invoice to any bank for payment of the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) registration fee;
iv) Return to the Polytechnic website https://www.postutme1.fepoda.edu.ng to complete, the registration with the following data by clicking on “Finish Registration” link:
JAMB Registration, JAMB Score, State of Origin, First, Second and other choice of courses.
Candidates should also upload the original JAMB result printout as well as their original certificates or statement of result on the Polytechnic Portal and the JAMB website;
Printout the registration details.

2. CLOSING DATE:

Completion and submission of forms on-line will close by 11:59 p.m. on 30th November, 2020.

3. NB:

(i) Candidates must provide authentic personal e-mail addresses and phone numbers as these will serve as the primary means of contacting them;
(ii) The Federal Polytechnic, Idah does not condone any form of false information as this would automatically disqualify the candidate
